- 2.Do you distill on-site or purchase neutral spirits?
- 3.How many times is your vodka/gin/whisky distilled?
- 4.What makes your process different from others?
- 5.Which product are you most proud of?
True grain-to-glass distilleries will answer these questions enthusiastically. If a distillery is vague about production, that's a red flag.

- Check hours — smaller distilleries may have limited schedules
